Today is April 2, 2011. I've been having a spat of seizures lately so haven't really updated much. But I did write a blog post (see above site for details) about my outrage over this so-called pastor in Florida, Terry Jones, who, even though he knew it would cause enormous damage and endanger our troops, burned a Koran very publicly with his little ministry. I think the guy is just a bit nuts and wants some fame. His reasoning? He put the Koran on "trial," found it "guilty" and "sentenced" it to burning. I don't know about you, but that's not exactly the American way in my book. Yes, people in other countries burn our flag, burn our leaders in effigy, probably burn Bibles...that does not mean we must do the same. It is especially disgusting considering our troops and civilian workers are in the region and some have already been killed over this stunt. The violence continues to escalate. Our troops are already spread way too thin. While Jones may not be responsible for killing anyone, he has blood on his hands. He knew what his actions would lead to and he did it anyway.
